Chloe Calderon Chotrani (b. 1992, Metro Manila) is dance artist based in Singapore/Asia.
Chloe’s movement is constantly based on a cyclic way of living and communicating. Chloe uses movement to question society. Working as a dancer and choreographer provides her with the transferable skills of interpersonal communication on a visceral and kinaesthetic plane.
She has danced and choreographed with Legit Status (Manila), Romançon Dance Company (Manila), B Supreme London (London), Ecole Des Sables (Senegal), Movement Research (New York), Evidence Dance/Ronald K. Brown (New York) and Dance Omi (New York). She was a Dance Artist Scholar with Romançon to complete a BA in Arts Management. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Asian Art; with a specific interest in the performing arts of Southeast Asia.
Chloe continues to pursue interdisciplinary research between the lines of eco-feminism, decolonization and ancestry. Her latest project is an archive of artists from Southeast Asia called Talking Circles.
